Donald comes to Sand Barrens Golf Club in Cape May County with 23 years of experience in the golf industry both as a Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional and Golf Instructor. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and willingness to work with all ability levels of golfers, including specialized instruction within a small group setting specifically targeted for those golfers under the age of eight and as young as five. He also has experience working with students with physical or mental disabilities as part of his work with the Eastern Amputee Golf Association and Special Olympics of Allegheny County in PA.
Donald believes in continuing to better his knowledge of golf and strives to enhance his understanding of best practices through continuing his personal education. He is part of only seven PGA Golf Professionals in the country to hold seven certifications through the PGA’s continuing education program. He is currently working through the PGA’s Master’s Program in the topic area of Player Development as part of his goal to make golf equitable for all.
Donald has been recognized in the world of golf for wanting to grow the game and enrich his teaching skills. He was selected to the PGA Presidents Council in 2005, ‘06, ‘07, ‘09 & ‘10 for growing the game of golf. He was also recognized in 2011 & ’12 through U.S. Kids Golf as an Honorable Mention to the Top 50 Kids Teachers in the United States.

Three Day Golf Schools $239 per person per school 9 hours of Instruction
Schools will meet Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Includes lunch each day.

Tuesday Beginner Classes $99 per person for 5 classes 5 hours of Instruction
Designed for the beginner golfer in mind to develop their skills necessary for the golf course. Participation can start anytime. Classes are held each week on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 pm beginning May 2nd.
A syllabus of dates and topics will be provided at your first class.
Clinics on the Eighths $10 per person per clinic
Participation clinics with various topics. Clinics are 60 minutes long.

Junior Camps are conducted in a safe and engaging atmosphere. Golfers between 8 and 16 years old are invited to participate. Practice balls are included in the price. Golf clubs can be provided for the student if necessary. Junior Camp One $149 each camp 7.5 hours of Instruction
Camps are designed to give the junior golfer the opportunity to grow their golfing skills. Over the course of the 5 day camp juniors will learn about many of the aspects of the game; full swing fundamentals, putting, chipping, rules, etiquette, safety and on course play. Camps meet Monday through Friday. 8:00 to 9:30 am.

This is a continuation of Junior Camp I.
A more in-depth look at all the aspects that were learned in Junior Camp I. There will be an on course aspect every day of this camp. Camps meet Monday through Friday. 8:00 to 9:30 am.

Girls Only Camp $149 each 7.5 hours of Instruction
This camp has the same curriculum as Junior Camp I, but is for girls only.
Camps meet Monday through Friday. 8:00 to 9:30 am.
July 31st to August 4th
Junior Scoring Camp $119 each 6 hours of Instruction
Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Lob, Sand shots & wedge shots from inside 100 yds.
Camp is Monday through Wednesday. 8:00 to 10:00 am.
July 17th to 19th
Little Tikes One $39 per student 2 hours of Instruction
This class is set-up for the newest of golfers. Kids 7 and under are invited to participate. Fridays 10:00 to 10:30 am.
